First Doctor's Appointment!!

Today was Hunter's first doctor's appointment! We went in this morning and found out that he is a very healthy baby boy. Thank goodness his jaundice is mostly gone now, since that was one of our main concerns. We found out that after losing about a half a pound after he was born, he is back up to 8 lbs. and 1 oz. and he grew a little to 21 1/4 inches. He is in about the 43rd percentile for his weight, and the 83rd percentile for his height. Looks like Chad's dreams of Hunter becoming a basketball star might come true!
K funny story.. So while Hunter was getting checked, he was getting kind of fussy like most babies do. So he used the only defense mechanism he has and wet all over the doctor! It was pretty funny, especially since it wasn't all over me this time! Needless to say, it was a very adventurous doctor visit. :)

Baby Hunter Michael Waters!!!

Hunter Michael Waters was born on Tuesday January 20 at 2:32 a.m. He weighed 8 lbs. and was 21 inches long. He has quite a bit of short dark hair and has the prettiest dark blue eyes. He has the cutest long toes and fingers that Chad says will be great for his future basketball career. :) He is the sweetest little boy and we feel so grateful and blessed to have him in our lives. He is already such a joy and will always bring a smile to both of our faces. We love you so much Hunter!!

Ready and Waiting...

With eleven days to go until our baby's due date, we finally finished getting the nursery ready! It's not much, but we like it and can't wait for him to get here!

Happy Birthday Mom!!

I know I'm really late getting these pictures up (my Mom's birthday was on the 4th...), but better late than never right? We had our whole family together for about a week over New Year's. It was so fun to have Daniel, Nicole, and Miley here from Denver!! And we are so excited for Benn and Laura who got married on December 30!! We were able to have a fun birthday party for my Mom on January 4th before Daniel left that night. We loved spending so much time with everyone and can't wait until it can happen again.
