Hunter's First Haircut!

I finally took Hunter in to get his first real haircut about two weeks ago. I work at Cookie Cutters, so I just took him in to my work and he really liked it. He sat in the little red car, watched sesame street, and just sat there while I cut his hair. Then he got his balloon and sucker at the end and got to play on the slide! Here are some of the cute pictures my sister Jayne got of the big event:

Afterwards we went shopping for a few things at Toys R' Us and Hunter got to ride on the boat with Tigger

He loved it!

M*A*U*I

I'm so late getting this post up, but better late than never right? That seems to be my motto lately with this blog:) Anyway, we went to Maui last month from June 11-21 and had such a wonderful time! It was me, Chad, Hunter, my mom (Granny J), my brother and sister Matthew and Jayne, and their two friends Toi Taufa and Matt Rowe. It was Jayne and Matthew's senior trip, and we went along to help out and of course for FUN! It was so nice to get away, especially to somewhere so beautiful and relaxing. We went to the beach, did some shopping, hiking, went to the Old Lahaina Luau, went snorkeling, the boys all went golfing, and it all went way too fast. Hunter loved everything about Maui. He loved the beach, but I think his favorite thing was the sand. He loved to bury things, build sand castles, dig, and just walk and feel it between his toes. We got lots of fun pictures, and I know this is the longest slide show ever, but I hope you enjoy it!

Mothers Day

Chad got me a membership to Hogle Zoo for mothers day, so we went for our first time last weekend. It was kind of crowded, but we had a lot of fun and I think Hunter really enjoyed it. We only got a couple pictures, but the membership is good for a year so there will definitely be more to come. Happy mothers Day everyone!!!

Hunter loved that little baby elephant

Not a great picture of me, but Hunter looks so cute!

A visit from Arizona

My brother Daniel and his family were in town last week from Arizona for few days and we had so much fun! Hunter had a great time playing with his cousins Miley and Anya. We had cousin "tubby time" each night and they all loved it! We also went out to the aquarium in Sandy, and to the farm at Thanksgiving Point. Hunter had so much fun seeing all the animals. The penguins seemed to be his favorite at the aquarium, and he loved to play in "jail" at the farm. Here are some of the fun pictures we got of Hunter, Miley, and Anya while they were here:

Feeding the ducks

We took Hunter to sugarhouse park a couple weeks ago to feed the ducks and he loved it! He was a little shy at first, but he warmed up to the ducks and geese real quick.

Hunter loved to walk right up to the edge of the pond and just watch the ducks

He wouldn't take his eyes off them

Cute little Hunter! (even when he's in the middle of blinking)

He wanted to swim with the ducks he had so much fun!

It was a fun afternoon. We'll have to go back again soon!

Happy Easter!

Better late than never right? We had such a fun Easter and were able to celebrate with both of our families. It's so nice to live so close to both our families so that we can be together for holidays and other fun and special occasions. Here are some fun pictures we got:

Hunter didn't have to look very hard to find his basket on Easter morning

I thought it was so cute how he loved looking at himself in his new little mirror!

Do you love our beautiful eggs that we dyed?

Aunt Jayne was so nice to help Hunter on his Easter egg hunt

Hunter thought if he put the eggs in that bag that he wouldn't get them back

Such a happy little egg hunter

We had an egg hunt with the Waters too

He was all set with one in each hand

Still looking for eggs in his cute Easter outfit! Thanks Granny J!

Hunter loved to go get brownies and ice cream from Grandpa

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!!

Update

I'm sorry I have not posted anything in forever!! Life has been so crazy for us lately, but at the same time nothing too exciting or "blogworthy" has really happened. Chad has stayed really busy with work and school full time, I went back to work part time in January and I've been busy with that and being a full time mom for Hunter, and Hunter is just as cute and busy as ever! He is growing so fast now and learns so many new things everyday. I just had to put this cute picture up of him and his shadow. I know you can't tell in the picture, but he discovered his shadow today and he just sat there at the wall talking to it for a while it was the cutest thing! We sure love our sweet little boy!
